Elephants, Atlanta, Georgia, USA
These elephants at the Atlanta Zoo were basking in the weak rays of the winter sun on a very cold day. Elephants are pachyderms, a term derived from the Greek compound word pachydermata which means thick skin. On a day like this, thick skin was definitely helpful!
