Evening Commuters
Expressway and Rail Station, Tel Aviv, Israel
Commuting to and from work is an everyday occurrence for millions around the world. These folks were likely commuting home from a day at the shops, malls, and markets which closed in the evening.
To get this shot, we disabled the flash and set the camera shutter open for a few seconds. We needed the camera shutter open long enough to capture the moving cars, but not so long that the people in the rail station would appear as blurs.
Also, to further reduce blurring, we set the timer to snap the picture a few seconds after we pressed the button. This gave the camera time to settle after the slight movement from pressing the button.
