Old Gulf Gas Pump, South Georgia, USA
We saw this retired gas pump while wandering through South Georgia one spring day back in 1996. By then the price of gasoline had almost certainly climbed above 99.9 cents per gallon, and this pump was not designed to handle that! Today, the Gulf brand is no longer served in fueling stations. Instead, Gulf has become BP and BP now sells Amoco branded fuels.
