In and Around the Lake
Lake Michigan, USA
The morning sun is shining down on southwestern Lake Michigan. Enroute to Chicago, we were likely in our descent by this time. At 22,400 sq mi (58,000 km2), Lake Michigan is the largest body of water by area wholly in the United States and also the largest by area found entirely within any one country. If you look closely, you can see a large ship plying the waters.
